Core Team Roles

The ”doers”.

  • Involved in day-to-day team work. Generally, one of the people working on the direct deliverables comes from the team.

  • Core team members work collaboratively to plan and deliver the product

  • Participate directly in the sprint (sprint planning, stand-up, daily work, retrospective, showcase)

  • Work face-to-face with other core members to define and elaborate work as you go.

  • Follow Agile Principles

  • Share ownership of the Story wall.

  • The Core team is comprised of a number of different skill sets (cross-functional)

  • The Core team is ideally co-located where practical

  • Everyone is responsible for identifying and reporting risks and issues. The Risk or Issue Owner is accountable for the effectiveness of controls.
