Coaching Plan
This Agile Training Plan is meticulously crafted to empower participants at every stage of their Agile journey, from initial exposure to advanced mastery. With a structured approach across four distinct phases—Initial Exposure, Develop Basics, Evolve & Reflect, and Accelerate & Kaizen—the training plan caters to individuals and teams at various Agile adoption and maturity levels.
Each phase is strategically designed to address specific objectives and challenges encountered in Agile transformation:
Initial Exposure: In this foundational phase, participants are introduced to the core concepts, principles, and values of Agile. Through interactive sessions and hands-on activities, they gain a fundamental understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, laying the groundwork for Agile adoption within the organisation.
Develop Basics: Building on the foundational knowledge acquired in the initial phase, participants delve deeper into Agile practices and techniques. They learn essential skills such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and user story mapping, equipping them to contribute effectively to Agile projects and initiatives.
Evolve & Reflect: In this phase, the focus shifts towards practical implementations and continuous improvement. Participants engage in reflective exercises, retrospectives, and coaching sessions to refine their Agile practices, enhance collaboration, and drive organisational evolution. Emphasis is placed on fostering a culture of learning, experimentation, and adaptability.
Accelerate & Kaizen: As participants progress towards mastery, the final phase aims to accelerate Agile maturity and promote Kaizen, or continuous improvement. Advanced topics such as Agile leadership, scaled Agile frameworks, and innovation management are explored, empowering participants to lead Agile transformations, drive strategic initiatives, and unlock new levels of organisational excellence.
Throughout the training plan, participants are encouraged to apply Agile principles and practices in real-world scenarios, fostering a culture of innovation, resilience, and customer-centricity. At the end of each phase, there is a simple assessment to encourage learning outside the training session and retain knowledge. The assessments become the chock that prevents knowledge slippage and allows technical skills to be built upon.
By investing in Agile training, the organisation can cultivate a skilled, empowered workforce capable of thriving in today's rapidly changing business landscape.
